This premium quality bolt-on steering rack kit replaces the original VW Steering Box, Pitman Arm & Tie Rod Assembly on Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Baja/Buggy builds and also 356 replica kits that retain the stock fuel tank in the factory position

The kit includes the following components:
– Complete steering rack assembly
– Tie Rods (suited to your beam width)

– Template/Column section to utilise existing steering column.
Main Features of this bolt-on steering rack assembly include:
– Aluminium Rack Housing
– 25mm pinion and rack made from alloyed, heat-treated steel
– Automatic play adjustment
– Improved steering geometry and better road holding (equal-length tie rods)
– Bolt-on installation with no chassis modifications or welding required
Tie Rod End Set is not included, please select your desired set if required. M10 (1965 and earlier) M12 (1966 onwards).
Please note: This kit does require modification to your original column with the cutting/drilling template and column section provided with the kit: no welding required—just cut and drill as instructed.
