Description
Upgrade the rear lighting on your classic Volkswagen Type 2 with this high-quality LED retrofit kit, designed specifically for 1962-1971 Split Screen Bus and Bay Window models fitted with European specification tail light units. This plug and play conversion fits directly into the original rear light housings, providing significantly brighter stop, tail and indicator lights while retaining the factory appearance of your vehicle.
The kit features a unique two-part LED module design, allowing each section of the European specification tail light unit to be illuminated correctly for optimum light distribution and authentic operation. Each side incorporates 105 heavy-duty automotive-grade SMD LEDs, delivering outstanding brightness, rapid illumination and improved visibility in all driving conditions. Designed for reliability and efficiency, the system draws minimal current and is compatible with both 6-volt and 12-volt negative earth electrical systems.
Designed as a true plug and play upgrade, each module is supplied with an approximately 25cm wiring loom and factory-style connectors for fast, hassle-free installation. No cutting or modification to the vehicle’s original wiring is required, making this an ideal upgrade for both restored and regularly driven vehicles.
Please note: Lenses are not included. This kit is designed to work with your existing original or replacement European specification rear light lenses, preserving the factory appearance when unlit while providing significantly improved illumination when in use.
